A few weeks ago I attended a wonderful Yoga Workshop presented by a gentleman named Lee Albert.  He is a Yoga Teacher for many years, as well as a Neuromuscular Therapist. Neuromuscular therapy is a form of soft tissue manipulation that aims to treat underlying causes of chronic pain involving the muscular and nervous systems.

The yoga that we practiced was focused heavily on ways to balance the pelvis, which often is misaligned due to tight muscles pulling it out of alignment. The yoga poses were gentle and held for one to two minutes.
I have been adding some of Lee’s work into my weekly classes, however, he recommends that the poses be done at least three times a day for one to two minutes, to really make a difference in how you feel. If your body has been enjoying the work we have been doing together lately, you might be interested in checking out his website, as week as his books.  His books have illustrations as well as descriptions of each of the yoga postures.

Lee has a great website where you can learn more about his work.  There are a number of articles as well as audios available on the site.  He has written two books.  I have listed one below, Live Pain Free. The second book, Yoga for Pain Relief, has basically much of the same information as the other but also includes a lot of Yogic Philosophy in it.  Both books can be purchased online as well as on Kindle.  I just looked up the cost and both run around $10.00 to $15.00.

I recommend that you visit his website at http://www.leealbert.com/Blogs---Articles.html  click on the above- highlighted web address and it should take you directly to his site.

Here is Lee Albert's Bio  – as noted on his website:
